Acorn, a UK multi-specialist recruitment and training agency, has promoted Sarah Blanchard to the role of branch manager at its Thornbury branch.

Blanchard was previously a recruitment consultant at the firm.

SEC people director Carly Brunsden has been appointed as chair of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies HR Forum.

Brunsden joined life sciences, pharma and IT recruiter SEC in 2013

Armstrong Craven, a specialist in global talent mapping and pipelining, has made two senior hires.

Adam Jackson has joined as practice director in financial services, while Nick Bunkum comes on board as practice director, consumer and industrial.

 

Cast UK appoints Bulmer

Executive and management level recruiter Cast UK has appointed Nik Bulmer to head up its new business change and transformation division.

Bulmer was previously a managing consultant at Contract Change Management.

He will be based at Cast UK’s Manchester head office.

 

Code42 brings Pendergrast on board as senior VP people

Leslie Pendergrast has joined Minneapolis-based data protection software company Code42 as senior vice president of people.

Previously chief people officer at consumer data collection company Datalogix, where she and her team developed strategies and practices in the areas of talent acquisition, talent development, culture and wellbeing, benefits, compensation, HR operations and workplace resources, Pendergrast will focus on enhancing employee engagement in her new role.

 

Collingwood bolsters team with Montgomery

Executive search firm Collingwood has bolstered its team with the addition of Simon Montgomery.

Montgomery will be the Cheshire-based firm’s principal consultant in its construction, property and infrastructure division.

Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Charles Lebeter as its new head of HR for UK & Ireland.

Lebeter was previously at global bank Barclays, where he spent 13 years in a number of roles, most recently as head of HR for group technology.

Move Guides, a firm which helps HR teams move employees around the world, has appointed Laura Marino as vice president of product management.

Marino will be based at the firm’s San Francisco office. Move Guides also has bases in London and Hong Kong.

 

mydentist appoints Devlin head of resourcing

European dental provider mydentist has appointed Rob Devlin as head of resourcing.

Devlin, who has held resourcing management roles at UK consumer co-operative the Co-operative Group and bakers Warburton, will oversee the firm's resourcing and talent agenda, leading a team of 30 recruiters.

He is based at the company's Manchester headquarters.
