People moves: Cognitive Group, Darcy Associates, Ignata and more make new hires

Cognitive Group shifts key roles

Microsoft Dynamics staffing specialist Cognitive Group has made personnel changes in three key roles.

Carl Turner, who was previously chairman, is now COO.

Jon Keen was managing director and is now CEO, while Jonathan Wright, who joined Cognitive in September, has been appointed as chairman.

 

Hazell hire at Darcy Associates

Construction recruiter Darcy Associates has appointed Nick Hazell as a consultant. 

He will specialise in the trades and labour sector and will be based at the firm’s Bristol office.

 

Hallahan CEO hire for Ignata

Professional services recruitment company Ignata has appointed James Hallahan as CEO of its specialist recruitment businesses. 

Hallahan was previously at executive search and leadership services firm Harvey Nash where he was managing director, UK and Ireland.

 

Edwards joins Hamlyn Williams as sales director

Global executive recruiter Hamlyn Williams has appointed Alex Edwards as sales director.

Edwards will be based at the firm’s London office, and will lead sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

He was previously business manager at technical recruiter CBSbutler.

 

C&D Group hires Hastie

Bristol-based C&D Group has appointed Matthew Hastie as sales director.

Hastie was most recently a sales director at Bristol-based recruiter Darren Bell Recruitment.

 

Dalgleish’s new director role at IQX

Scottish-based temporary staffing technology specialist, IQX welcomes new non-executive director Russell Dalgleish to its board. 

Dalgleish has been involved in the recruitment sector since 1998 building both agency and technology brands. He is currently managing partner with Exolta Capital Partners, working with a select group of companies in a strategic role.

 

Brown addition at Move Guides

Global mobility firm Move Guides has announced the addition of Dale Brown as vice-president of finance.

Brown was most recently vice president of finance and corporate controller for Imperva, a NYSE-listed cyber security software company.

 

Bambrick-Sattar appointment at SEC

Life sciences, pharma and IT recruiter SEC Recruitment has appointed Kerry Bambrick-Sattar as strategic key accounts director.

Bambrick-Sattar has joined from health care services company QuintilesIMS where she was senior HR director and global head of performance, learning solutions.

She will be based at SEC’s head office in London.

 

Chobot joins Spengler Fox

Global talent consultancy Spengler Fox has appointed Krzysztof Chobot as practice group leader – industrial.

He is based in Warsaw.

 

Two appointments for Swanstaff

Multi-sector recruiter Swanstaff has made two senior appointments.

Paul Verghese has joined as director of sales and Nick Cavanagh has come on board as director of clinical services.

Verghese has more than 25 years experience in multi-sector recruitment and has successfully built and sold his own recruitment business.

Cavanagh has 21 years of experience in the industry, specialising in NHS healthcare recruitment.

Verghese and Cavanagh are based at the Swanstaff head office in Dartford.

 

Mayne in Ventula director role

Technology recruiter Ventula Consulting has appointed Rachel Mayne as associate director leading its business change and transformation practice.

She will be based in Ventula’s new London city offices.

Mayne joins from executive recruiter Morpheus, where she was manager of its business change and IT transformation division.
