Mark Darby has stepped down from his role as chief operations officer at Kellan Group with immediate effect.

In a statement, released late last week, the multi-sector recruitment organisation revealed Darby’s exit coincides with Liam Humphreys joining the group as managing director. Humphreys will be responsible for all operational matters and reports to executive chairman Richard Ward.

Darby took up his role as COO in December 2013 and is a former managing director of the group’s hospitality recruitment business Berkeley Scott.

Recruiter contacted Darby for more information about his reasons for stepping down and his future plans but had not heard back by deadline.
