US blue-collar recruiter TrueBlue has seen year-on-year revenue increase 2% in Q3 2016, according to group results for the period.

The results for the period ending 23 September 2016, published this morning, reveals revenue of $697m (£568m), up from $684m for the third quarter of 2015. 

Net income was $23m or $0.56 per diluted share, compared to $20m or $0.48 per diluted share for the third quarter of 2015, while adjusted net income was $30m or $0.70 per diluted share, compared to $26m or $0.60 per diluted share for the third quarter of 2015.

"Our team delivered growth in revenue and net income this quarter while sustaining a high level of service quality with our customers," TrueBlue chief executive Steve Cooper said commenting on the group’s results. 

"Our cost management actions have been decisive and balanced as we remain committed to our long-term technology and growth strategies. We are taking the right steps to preserve our profitability while maintaining our readiness to accelerate growth."
