Bob Morton has stepped down as non-executive chairman at specialist recruitment and outsourcing solutions provider Servoca due to ill health.

In a statement, released this morning, the group announced Morton is to retire and will be succeeded as chairman by former non-exec director John Foley with immediate effect.

Paying tribute to Morton, Andy Church, Servoca’s chief executive, said: "It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with Bob at Servoca since I joined the business over seven years ago.

“Our paths first crossed almost a decade ago, and during that time, myself and Servoca have benefitted greatly from his experience, knowledge and support. Servoca has made significant progress over recent years and Bob's guidance in helping the business achieve this success is greatly appreciated. Having achieved so much, on behalf of the board, I would like to wish Bob a happy and healthy future.”
