Talent acquisition software specialist TribePad has been acquired in a management buyout led by former Plusnet chief technology officer Dean Sadler and the firm’s board of directors.

The board has bought 100% of the business to enable a restructure aiming to support plans for rapid growth over the next five years. Sadler takes up the role of TribePad chief executive.

The Sheffield-based recruitment technology firm, founded in 2008, aims to deliver efficiencies and long-term cost savings on recruitment processes, particularly in businesses which handle multiple vacancies. Clients include the BBC, Tesco and KFC.

The TribePad board was assisted in its MBO by Matt Ainsworth, partner at Irwin Mitchell and Matt Milne of Shorts Accountants.
