World Wrestling Entertainment is set to grapple with the Chinese market after recruiting its first Chinese wrestler.

The Financial Times reports that Bin Wang, a 22-year-old from eastern China, will be the first Chinese wrestler contracted by the WWE.

The professional wrestling organisation has recently agreed a multi-year distributional deal with a Chinese digital video service that will host WWE flagship shows Raw and Smackdown.

‘Oh Yeah, Diggit!’ as the late Macho Man Randy Savage might say.
