Indian sandalwood oil producer Santanol has held recruitment days specifically targeting Aboriginal people in the far North of Western Australia.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) news website reports the firm held two information and recruitment sessions at the Waringarri Aboriginal Corporation in the East Kimberley region on Monday [7 March].

The news site adds more than 50 people applied for the six labourer and two machine operator jobs.
