Global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has promoted David Boehmer to global managing partner for its financial services practice.

Working out of the firm's London’s office, Boehmer will also continue to lead the firm’s financial services practice in Europe and Africa.

In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the practice and overseeing a team of around 70 consultants worldwide.
