Burns Tempest launched by Winterburn

Former Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) chairman David Winterburn has launched executive search firm Burns Tempest.

From its offices in Leeds and London, the firm will fill roles that typically pay between £50k and £500k a year.

Winterburn founded Leeds-based headhunting firm Harrison Winterburn Associates and helped establish Belfast-based executive search company 4c.

He is also a past president of the European Confederation of Search and Selection Associations and recently completed a maximum six-year term on the National Council of the Institute of Directors.
