A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly posing as a recruiter and stealing the identities of 30 people who applied for his fake jobs, WCTV reports.

A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly posing as a recruiter and stealing the identities of 30 people who applied for his fake jobs, WCTV reports. 

Gerald Washington, from Pensacola, Florida, reportedly carried out the scam in Tallahassee, renting a downtown office and advertising for 1,100 roles.

According to arrest papers, Tallahassee police allege Washington invited applicants in for interviews and then snared social security numbers, bank account information for direct deposits and even collected urine samples.
