Global recruiter ManpowerGroup has seen year-on-year net earnings fall along with revenues, according to the company’s Q3 results.

A financial statement for the three months ended 30 September reveals net earnings in the quarter were US$123.9m (£80.2m) compared to $130.5m in the corresponding quarter last year. Meanwhile, Q3 revenues were $5bn, down 8% from a year earlier.

The statement adds financial results in the quarter were “significantly” adversely affected by a stronger US dollar relative to several foreign currencies compared to the same period last year. On a constant currency basis, revenues increased 6%.
