New York-based TRU Staffing Partners has acquired fellow US recruiter Kennett Group and launched a new division, TRU Cyber, to focus on cyber security recruitment.

TRU Staffing operates in the legal technology, e-discovery and litigation support sectors. Kennett Group focused on privacy, cyber security, data analytics and legal technology.

Jeff Scarpitti, founder and managing principal of the Kennett Group, has joined TRU as partner and president of the new cyber division.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
