Scottish recruiter The Brightwork Group has appointed Helen Jones as its new financial controller.

She succeeds finance director Derek May, who stepped up into the position of chief executive in April.

In a statement, May said Jones’ appointment marked an “evolutionary step” in the group’s development.

May previously told Recruiter a “new way” was needed to help deliver ambitious growth plans. 

According to her LinkedIn profile, Jones joins from Merchiston Castle School, where she was financial controller for three years.
