Mexican restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill is aiming to recruit 4,000 new employees across the US in a single day.

In a statement, the firm revealed it is to hold open interviews at more than 1,800 locations across the US on 9 September.

Chipotle added it recruits across a specific set of 13 candidate characteristics. These traits are being conscientious, respectful, hospitable, highly energetic, infectiously enthusiastic, happy, presentable, smart, polite, motivated, ambitious, curious and honest.

Interested candidates based in the US are invited to register for an interview.
