Executive search firm Leathwaite has appointed Andy Gregson to lead its new management consulting service.

The service, launched this week, will sit alongside the group’s executive search, interim placement and market intelligence divisions. Gregson joins as partner and head of management consulting.

Explaining how the service would work, Gregson gave the example of supporting banks that need to separate their trading arm from retail operations. He told Recruiter that in these instances, the firm would liaise with the client to work out the right approach for the project, package a solution and then manage the work.

Before joining Leathwaite Gregson worked at an independent consulting firm. Before that he was a managing director, leading the finance change function at financial services firm UBS, and held similar positions at other financial institutions including Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Deutsche Bank.
