Global energy recruiter WRS has appointed Philip Shepherd as regional director for its new Singapore-based Asia Pacific operation.

He was previously country manager for Japan at rival energy staffing specialist Air Energi.

Supporting Shepherd will be business development manager Zue Ling, who will be responsible will be responsible for driving market penetration and strategy, while further building on WRS’s client base.

The new office is on the 36th floor of the UOB building in the heart of Singapore's central business district, and will open in May.
