The board of international confederation of private employment agencies Ciett is in Brazil this week [2-6 March] to discuss appropriate international regulation for the employment and recruitment industry.

The board members have met with senators and members of the Brazilian parliament.

Yesterday, a conference was held in São Paulo featuring representatives from the government, the industry, trade unions and International Labour Organization to discuss the role of agency work and its contribution to a better functioning labour market.
