Aviva restructure leads to HR director changes

The enlarged business of insurer Aviva has appointed Ceri Connolly as acting HR director UK & Ireland Life.

As part of a management restructure following Aviva’s announcement of a planned acquisition of rival firm Friends Life, Connolly, current HR director for Aviva’s UK Life business, will be acting HR director responsible for HR and internal communications in the enlarged Life business.
Meanwhile, current group HR director at Friends Life Kim Clarke takes on the role of HR integration director.
It is expected the Aviva’s acquisition of Friends Life will complete by 13 April.
