Aon Hewitt acquires software consultancy Kloud

Aon Hewitt, the global talent, retirement and health solutions business of US-listed Aon, has acquired UK-based Workday HR software consultancy Kloud.

Kloud specialises in deployment and application management to help companies implement Workday, mainly in Europe.

Kloud’s team of more than 65 Workday-certified professionals will join Aon Hewitt’s team. Matt Lawrence, Ian Maslin and John Barratt, Kloud’s founding partners, will continue to lead Kloud as a business within Aon Hewitt’s Global Workday Deployment practice.

A statement from Aon Hewitt said this acquisition sees it become the largest provider of Workday services in Europe.

In 2012 it acquired the leading US Workday deployment firm, OmniPoint.

The cost of the acquisition was not disclosed.
