FAST 50 2015: Multi-sector FAST 50 recruiters benefit from improved economy

The strong showing of multi-sector recruiters in this year’s Recruiter FAST 50 reflects the ability of firms in this grouping to benefit from an improving economy, says Mark Kingston, assistant director of Boxington Corporate Finance, compilers of the FAST 50, which lists the fastest-growing private staffing companies in the UK.
Thu, 22 Jan 2015The strong showing of multi-sector recruiters in this year’s Recruiter FAST 50 reflects the ability of firms in this grouping to benefit from an improving economy, says Mark Kingston, assistant director of Boxington Corporate Finance, compilers of the FAST 50, which lists the fastest-growing private staffing companies in the UK.

The full FAST 50 list, sponsored by Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance, will be published in the February issue of Recruiter magazine, which will land on desks from today [22 January].

Commenting on multi-sector recruiters making up 30% of the Fast 50 2015, Kingston says: “Multi-sector players will always benefit when there has been a positive economic backdrop because of their ability to generate sales across a range of recruitment markets.” More than half (eight) of the multi-sector recruiters in the 2015 FAST 50 appeared in last year’s list. However, a notable exception is executive search consultancy GatenbySanderson, which topped this year’s FAST 50 on its first appearance.
