London-headquartered talent acquisition and management services company Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) has appointed Tracy Hurst to lead its new global client service centre in Belfast.

Hurst has held senior client services roles at the company since 2010.

The new Belfast centre is set to create 250 jobs and will be officially launched in February, but Hurst and a team of 27 talent acquisition and management professionals are already working there.

AMS has a network of six global centres.

As Recruiter previously reported, the Belfast centre was supported by Invest Northern Ireland and the Department for Employment & Learning.

Invest NI gave a grant of £1m in support of the jobs, and another £600k in support for training, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The Department for Employment and Learning offered £400k through its Assured Skills programme.
