The Indian state government of Bhubaneswar is creating its own recruitment committee due to large-scale vacancies which are affecting governance, The New Indian Express reports.

The Indian state government of Bhubaneswar is creating its own recruitment committee due to large-scale vacancies which are affecting governance, The New Indian Express reports.
There are 150,000 vacancies across government departments with the highest number, 75,000, in the school and mass education department.
There are also more than 10,000 vacancies in the agriculture department that implements welfare schemes for farmers, which is now not happening in some districts due to the staff shortage.
