Thu, 11 Sep 2014 The shortlist has been announced for Recruiter’s inaugural Investing in Talent Awards, launched earlier this year to recognise recruitment businesses and individuals demonstrating a passion for people.

These latest honours are also intended to showcase recruitment businesses as employers of choice and recruitment as a rewarding career.

“Congratulations to our shortlisted nominees,” said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke. “Our judges had a field of truly outstanding entries to choose from – which says a lot about how recruiters are investing in talent today.”

The winners will pick up their prizes at an Awards lunch and ceremony on 22 October at the Congress Centre in London.

The new Awards from Recruiter emphasise excellence in how recruitment businesses take care of their staff, temporary workers and contractors. Employee share schemes, pay and benefits, workplace environment, team motivation events and professional development opportunities are among the 15 organisational areas in which recruitment businesses are competing.

Individual honours will be presented for inspirational recruiters in senior leader, team leader/manager and newcomer consultant roles.
