Greenbaum succeeds Felix as AESC president and CEO

The Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), the global association for executive search and leadership consulting firms, has elected Karen Greenbaum as president and chief executive.

She succeeds Peter Felix, who will retire at the end of 2014 after 16 years as AESC’s CEO.

Greenbaum starts her new role on 27 October. She began her career with global HR firm Mercer Consulting, where she worked for 30 years, rising through the ranks from consultant to president and chief operating officer of the US office.

She then worked for law firm Nixon Peabody as COO and retained executive search firm Pierce Consulting Partners, where she was a partner.
