Alton Towers wants to recruit scary staff

Fri, 26 Sep 2014The ability to frighten the general public isn’t normally regarded as an attribute by most employers looking to recruit new staff.

It is for Alton Towers, however, which is looking for 250 staff to scare visitors during its annual ‘Scarefest’ event, which runs from 18 October to 2 November.

Among those it is looking to recruit will be actors to chase guests around The Sanctuary hospital, and make their nightmares come true in its new Scary Tales attraction. The theme park will also be open until 9pm during Scarefest, allowing guests to experience rides and attractions in the dark.

Normally job interviews are scary for the candidate and not the employer but in this case it could be the other way round!
