More than 100 engineering jobs have been protected in Portsmouth on the South coast, thanks to a £70m contract to support the Royal Navy's Type 45 destroyers.

The two-and-a-half-year contract has been awarded to BAE Systems and further jobs will be sustained in the company’s supply chain.
