Thu, 19 Jun 2014Luxury car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover is creating 250 jobs as part of a £200m investment plan for its Halewood factory in Merseyside.

The additional jobs have been created to support JLR’s newest model, the Land Rover Discovery Sport, and will bring workforce numbers at the factory to 4,750 – triple what they were in 2010.

The news comes after the company said in March that the 1,700-job recruitment drive announced last year for its Solihull plant, in the West Midlands, had begun.
