Wed, May 14 2014Careers in strong, fast-growing industries are available even if a jobseeker doesn’t have a Bachelor’s degree, according to the annual CareerCast report on the best jobs without a college degree.

Among the best professions on the list, according to the US job board, are carpenter, computer service technician, dental hygienist, hair stylist and registered nurse.

“For jobseekers who simply didn't or couldn't attend college, there are still many rewarding career opportunities available if they know where to look, including in fields such as healthcare, personal services and information technology,” says Tony Lee, publisher, CareerCast.

“To land one of these jobs, you’ll need to compensate with good, old fashioned hard work and some post-high school training,” he adds.
