UK oil & gas recruiter Oil Consultants will kick off 2014 with expansion, having confirmed it is to open an office in Dubai this month.

This is according to the firm’s Middle East, Africa and India regional director Gareth Allen, who also says he will spend this month visiting clients in Abu Dhabi, Ghana, Oman and Qatar.
The company announced a partnership with local oilfield services firm Al Ghaith in Abu Dhabi in November last year, and the month before expanded into the Americas energy staffing market with a Houston office opening.
