Wed, 20 Nov 2013Manchester Airport is departing from its current practice of six-month rotations around the business in its graduate scheme, and has arrived at a more specialist model.

Seven spaces are open across five business areas at Manchester Airports Group (MAG) – airport management, asset management, capital delivery, engineering and finance. Recruits must have a 2:1 or higher degree in a degree relevant to their chosen discipline.

MAG’s group HR director, Collette Roche, says: “Our past graduate schemes have been slightly different in that graduates would rotate every six months around different areas of the organisation.

“This new scheme will see the graduates remain within their relevant area and then have a guaranteed job in that department once they have completed the scheme.”

Recruits will be based at Manchester Airport but must be flexible to work at the other airports in the group, East Midlands, London Stansted and Bournemouth.

Applications close at the beginning of January.
