Fri, 29 Nov 2013Train operator East Coast has launched a Facebook recruitment app to capitalise on publicity from an ongoing TV show on Sky 1 following the company.

The app allows users to be rated against which of the staff appearing on the show they are most similar to, directing them to relevant jobs.

Alongside this Facebook app, East Coast is also upping its activity on other social channels including Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Twitter.

Social media manager Nick Wood say the train company’s recruitment page has seen traffic double since the show’s launch on 12 November.
