US HR and staffing firm EmployBridge acquires Employment Plus branches

US outsourced HR and temporary staffing services provider EmployBridge says it has acquired “certain branch operations” of staffing firm Employment Plus.

Pre-deal, EmployBridge had 177 locations in 40 states, and says the new combined entity will include over 235 branch and on-site locations and total revenues reaching $1bn (£620m).

EmployBridge chief executive officer and president Tom Bickes says: “This acquisition is about creating a larger service footprint, leveraging innovative processes and extensive light industrial expertise to make us the best staffing service in the sector.”

His counterpart at Employment Plus, Shawn Poole, will continue on the executive team of the combined company.

EmployBridge operates primarily under its ProDrivers, ProLogistix and ResourceMFG brands.
