NetSuite announces intent to acquire TribeHR

Cloud-based business management software provider NetSuite has entered into an agreement to buy TribeHR, a Canadian-based human resource management solutions firm.

The proposed acquisition would create a single cloud solution for small businesses with the ERP [enterprise resource planning] power to run their core business operations, as well as a rich, social HR software solution to manage employees.

NetSuite will discuss this announcement further at its scheduled third quarter 2013 earnings call tomorrow (Thursday, 24 October).
