Fri, 25 Oct 2013Professional services firm KPMG is to create over 200 roles in a new national Innovation and Solutions Centre in Leeds.

KPMG says the first solutions to be offered from Broad Gate is a “customer relationship centre”, with a “high-tech client collaboration suite” to follow.

KPMG already employs over 800 people in the existing Leeds office. Senior partner there, Chris Hearld, says: “We have every confidence that the city supplies top quality employees and the infrastructure that business needs, from transport to social.”

The company also says the talent pool from the city’s three universities (University of Leeds, Leeds Metropolitan and Leeds Trinity) is a good source of talent.

The offices, based in Leeds city centre’s Broad Gate building, will be fitted out during the remainder of this year, with operations beginning in January.
