FINANCIALS: HOT 100 recruiter G2 Recruitment Solutions grows

G2 Recruitment Solutions, which was 17th on last year’s Recruiter HOT 100 list of the UK’s most profitable recruiters, grew its business by over 10% last year, with profit increasing by more than half.

The IT recruiter saw turnover for the calendar year 2012 rise to £24.9m, up from £21.5m in 2011.

Gross profit jumped from £5.5m to £6.1m, resulting in final profit for the year of £1.8m, compared with £1.1m in 2011.

The vast majority of the business’s turnover came from the UK. However, the ‘Rest of European Union’ division grew strongly from £1.2m last year to just under £2m in 2012, while ‘Rest of World’, where the company had not earned anything last year, bought, in £978k.

Staff numbers at G2 rose from 46 to 53.
