Brightwork acquires Quality Link Recruitment to build hospitality offering

QLR was acquired from private investment firm Murray Capital. Previously, QLR was part of recruitment group Rise, which was also owned by Murray Capital.

Brightwork says the move is in line with its “long-term strategy of identifying and acquiring complementary divisions to create strength in depth”.

The acquisition sees five QLR staff in Edinburgh and another employee in Glasgow join the Brightwork team.

The value of the deal has not been disclosed.

  • The firm was ranked 6th on Recruiter's 2013 FAST 50 list of the UK's fastest-growing recruitment businesses, according to annual sales growth – having also made the 2012 list in 38th position.
