FINANCIALS: Best Connection sees turnover grow and acquisitions made

The year also saw Best Connection acquire Bailey Employment Services and Matrix Training and Development, both of which alongside the core business will “be aggressively developed over the succeeding years”.

Turnover reached £198.9m, including the £5.6m from two acquisitions, while total group GP was up from £26.6m in 2011 to £29.9m, including £860k from the acquisitions.

Group operating profit dropped from £5.1m to £4.5m.

  • The firm was a new entry at 45th on Recruiter's 2013 FAST 50 list of the UK's fastest-growing recruitment businesses, according to annual sales growth.
