Thu, 26 Sep 2013The co-founder and managing director of job site CV-Library, Lee Biggins, has completed an internal buyout of the company by buying co-founder Brian Wakem’s 50% share of the business.

The eight-figure buyout is supported by a combination of personal funds, bank lending and profit from the business; no external investors are involved, a company statement says.

Biggins and Wakem co-founded the job board business in 2000. Biggins says that buying Wakem’s 50% share of the business will allow CV-Library to keep its independent title and “help us continue to grow our brand and recognition throughout the recruitment market while holding on to our core values”.

Future plans for the job board include mobile development and usability improvements, social media integration and candidate profile enhancements.
