Turnover rose to £102.6m, while gross profit crept up by 2%, reaching £12.8m, according to results filed at Companies House.

The firm made an operating loss of £2.5m, down from last year’s £2.8m, although its bottom-line loss of the financial year of £2.8m was £132k more than last year’s.

The report from the company says that the results are “disappointing due to a large bad debt with a major client and the continued depression of the financial services market”, but adds that 2013 “has started strongly in most of our business lines and by the half year the group is ahead of budget”.

Company headcount rose from 195 to 250.
