Ex-REC directors launch recruitment advisory business

A trio of former directors of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) have launched recruitment agency support and advisory firm Recruitment Knowledge Consultants.
Tue, 13 Aug 2013A trio of former directors of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) have launched recruitment agency support and advisory firm Recruitment Knowledge Consultants.

Led by Judith Armatage, Fiona Coombe and Sam Morris, RK Consultants’ service covers three main areas: business reviews; legal & compliance support; and recruiter learning & development programmes.

The firm will be looking to work with both start-up and established recruiters, and has offices in London, Portsmouth and Newcastle.

Armatage was the director of professional development at the REC for over 12 years, and has since worked as director of training at recruitment advisory firm Recruiter Hub.

After 11 years as a solicitor in private practice, Coombe spent 12 years with the REC as director of legal and professional services. She has also recently taken on a role as service provider director of industry body The Employment Agents Movement (TEAM).

Morris spent five years as director of the REC’s business support unit, and her 15 years in recruitment include time in senior roles at Hays.
