Liquidators have been appointed to wind up Manchester-based sales recruitment firm BSC Sales Specialists.

Documents filed on Companies House show that an extraordinary general meeting of the firm passed a motion agreeing that “it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind [it] up”.

The creditors voluntary liquidation is due to be led by Oldham firm Mistry Associates.

A Statement of Company’s Affairs document shows that creditors to whom money is owed include HM Revenue & Customs, Manchester City Council, Monster.co.uk, Reed Online and Totaljobs, as well as employees.

The firm was incorporated in 1996 and throughout has had Angela Howarth and David Howarth as directors, Companies House shows.

David is also the director of a separate company called BSC Sales Recruitment, which was incorporated in March of this year. Angela holds no other director or company secretary positions.
