Thu, 13 Jun 2013Auto maker Ford has added a four-year Higher Apprenticeship programme, which includes a degree level qualification, to its September 2013 apprenticeship recruitment.

There are 15 spaces on the product development apprenticeship roles based in Dunton, which include degree-level study provided in conjunction with the University of Greenwich.

“What is unique about Higher Apprenticeships is the blended approach to learning and working which enables direct application and reinforcement of new skills,” Tessa Hougham, Ford apprenticeship manager, tells Recruiter.

Hougham adds that individuals on these programmes will “add value to our business” even while going through the programme.

In addition to those Higher Apprenticeships (Levels Four and Six), the company continues to offer Advanced Apprenticeships (Level Three). For some of these, internal candidates will be considered prior to external applicants.
