Wed, 22 May 2013Industry body the Institute of Recruiters (IOR) has signed what it terms a “value-for-money” agreement with major job boards Jobsite and reed.co.uk.

Under the deal, IOR members will have cheaper access to the job boards.

Sue Arnold, a media buying expert and managing director of Haselour House Media, is providing the IOR with consultancy in the launch and ongoing management of the scheme.

IOR director general Azmat Mohammed tells Recruiter Arnold’s role is now “creating and managing the offer to internal recruiters and employers”, a similar deal for direct hirers due to be announced later, although he says this “will never be as cheap as to the recruiters – but it is still a great deal”.

IOR partner Simplicity has provided financial services for the initiative.
