Wed, 29 May 2013Recruitment firm Prime People saw a small improvement in temporary hiring demand drive growth in gross revenues in the year to 31 March, reaching £13.04m from last year’s £12.65m.

But reflecting a small drop-off in activity in its new Asian business, and “some increased pressure on permanent fee margins in the UK”, net fee income dropped by 5% to £7.6m, with bottom-line profit also falling slightly.

The firm says that its Middle East and Africa businesses “show early signs of improved activity”, and there is “some evidence of a degree of confidence returning to our core real estate market”.
