Tue, 21 May 2013IT recruiter Darwin has launched an app for iPhone and Android smartphones allowing candidates to search for and shortlist jobs on the go.

The app can be downloaded from iTunes and Google Play.

Darwin says that over a third of candidates interacting with them already do so with a smartphone.

With candidates able to set up job alerts and view newly-loaded jobs, the company says that the app will be particularly relevant to contract staff, but it expects it to be used by permanent workers as well.

  • Darwin was ranked 68th in the 2012 Recruiter HOT 100, sponsored by Microdec, ranking the UK recruitment firms with the greatest gross profit per employee.
