Jobs Watch: Atos recruits apprentices, Yahoo! hires in Dublin

International IT services company Atos has opened applications for its apprenticeship schemes, while expansion in Dublin for web firm Yahoo! means it will need to hire 200 employees in the next 12 months.

International IT services company Atos has opened applications for its apprenticeship schemes, while expansion in Dublin for web firm Yahoo! means it will need to hire 200 employees in the next 12 months.

The company is now actively recruiting nearly 100 new ICT apprentices in locations across the Midlands, South-East, North-West, North-East and London for it next intake, which begins in June.

Atos’ programme allows apprentices to build a career in IT using formal training and development programmes, and a number of recognised qualifications. Successful applicants earn between £8k and £12k, depending on the entry level.


Yahoo!
The firm has already started recruiting for customer support, technology, operations, HR and finance which will support Yahoo!’s business across the Europe, Middle Eastern and Africa (EMEA) region.

Yahoo! has had a Dublin base for a decade.
