Outsourcing and recruitment firm Staffline has acquired Birmingham-based temporary recruitment provider GB Resourcing.

Staffline says the announcement is in line with the firm’s existing business strategy of targeting selective bolt-on acquisitions operating in relevant fields to both expand their customer base and broaden their revenue mix.
It also says that the acquisition will be earnings neutral in the first full year of ownership and is being funded from Staffline’s existing bank facility.

The deal was introduced by Optima Corporate Finance.

Other recent acquisitions by Staffline include transport and logistics specialist Go New Recruitment, and office and admin recruiter Select Appointments, which it bought from Randstad.
