Labour laws in India should be unified and simplified in order to help the staffing industry, says a report from the Indian Staffing Federation.

The report into the Indian flexible staffing industry also suggests that best practices and ethics should be enforced within the industry.

The report also calls for all flexible staffing agencies to be registered with a designated central body, with fines for non-payment of wages to temps, to prevent the entry of rogue operators into the industry.
