Financial services firm Prudential has launched an apprenticeship scheme which will take on 50 people across three sites in its initial intake early next year.

Recruitment for the 12 to 18-month training positions, which will be in London, Reading and Stirling in Scotland, will run through November and December.

The firm is advertising through the websites of the National Apprenticeship Service and Apprenticeships in Scotland. Outsourcing firm Capita has been appointed training partner for the scheme.

As previously reported by Recruiter.co.uk, the number of apprenticeship starts in the UK in the academic year to 31 July was 10% higher than the previous year, with a diverse range of new industries and business areas now offering apprenticeships.
